Huge THANK YOU to Greenspace Lead Kara Hulce and volunteers Rachael Gehlbach, Christina Meyer, Nicole Hansen, Eric Baum, Kyle Knauff, Katie Moore, Laura Megna, Casey Szymanksi, Lauren Marino, and all of their families for watering the vegetable gardens! We really appreciate you taking time out of your summer to make sure the gardens stayed well watered and looking nice.

Thoreau scholars are getting a new library! “I’m most excited that the library is going to be designed for kids to fall in love with reading,” Principal Emily Jensen said. “They’ll have better access to books because of new shelving, which will encourage students to read more and focus on the material in the book more effectively.” The update will also add air conditioning and walls to reduce distractions.
